KARACHI: The second phase of the Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) National Physical Disability T-20 Cricket Championship is set to commence in Quetta on July 15. This phase marks a significant milestone as the physically disabled cricket team from Larkana will participate at the national level for the first time.
The opening match will be held at the Buitems Cricket Ground at 1:30 pm. Following this, additional matches in the championship will take place in Sialkot and Islamabad after Ashura, culminating in the final event in Karachi.
It is noteworthy that in the first stage of the championship, Multan’s team emerged victorious, with Bahawalpur’s team finishing as runners-up.
This initiative by the Shahid Afridi Foundation aims to promote and support cricket among physically disabled athletes, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and compete at a national level.
