Appreciation of Saudi leadership for providing job opportunities to Pakistani workers.

Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan on Overseas Pakistanis, met with the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of Saudi Arabia.

In the meeting, they discussed immediate delivery to increase the export of human resources from Pakistan. The Special Assistant praised the Saudi leadership for providing employment opportunities to around 3 million Pakistani workers.

The long-standing and brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were highlighted. Also discussed ways to increase exports of skilled manpower from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia.

The Special Assistant said that the Government of Pakistan has prioritized the skill development of Pakistani workers. He wants to send more skilled manpower to Saudi Arabia and invited the Saudi development to open more testing and training centers in Pakistan for the development of human capital.

He said that to speed up the export of Saudi Arabian manpower from Pakistan. Therefore, this visit was very fruitful in the national campaign of Pakistan.

He also offered to extend full support to Masalaam to operate as an independent training and certification company in Pakistan. Further, TVTC can also support training initiatives in Pakistan. It is noteworthy that Notic and TVTC will sign the MoU very soon.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development appreciated the Special Assistant’s offer and directed Al-Mahal to find ways to implement the Special Assistant’s recommendations.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to increase the export of skilled manpower from Pakistan. Special Assistant Jawad Sohrab Malik was accompanied by Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Mr. Ahmed Farooq, Director General BEOE, Mr. Akram Khawaja, Mr. Moazzam Ali Deputy Head of Mission and Mr. Sohail Babar Waraich, Community Welfare Attaché.
