RIYADH, KSA Automechanika Riyadh 2025 is placing a strong spotlight on the future skills vital to Saudi Arabia’s automotive transformation, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. As digitalisation, electric vehicle (EV) adoption, and artificial intelligence (AI) reshape the industry, the Automechanika Academy conference emphasized the need for a skilled, future-ready workforce.
Industry experts highlighted training in EV high-voltage systems, battery diagnostics, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and software as essential to meeting growing demand. Lawrie Martin of GP Strategies Corporation underlined the balance between AI-powered learning and hands-on experience, calling for world-class training centres and strategic partnerships.

The 2025 edition is the largest yet, with over 450 exhibitors from 30+ countries and 19,000 visitors gathering at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC). Aly Hefny, Show Manager at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said the event is “driving investment, knowledge exchange, and long-term development across the Kingdom’s automotive value chain.”
