Third-round matches of the Alkharj League of the ongoing Tera System T20 tournament were played on 23rd September 2022. Three matches were played in the morning while two matches were played in the afternoon.
In the First match of the morning, Fonte Star won by 31 runs against ECric Store. Winning the toss and electing to bat first Fonte Star posted a competitive 202/4 in their 20 overs. Majid Bashir top scored with 69(25) while Shahid Mahmood scored 50(31). In reply, ECric Store was restricted to 171/9. Atta Muhammad score 60(34).
In the second match, Riyadh Aces defeated Pakistan Falcons by a huge margin of 107 runs. Pakistan Falcons won the toss and elected to field first. Muhammad Hisham 154 (66) and Manzoor Shah 78(34) helped Riyadh Aces to post a mammoth 267/6 in their 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan Falcons could only score 161/7. Muhammad Waseem Khan scored 50(32).
In the third match, Pak Force emerged as the winner by 89 runs against Shuraim CC. Electing to bat first Pak Force posted 205/6 in their 20 overs. In reply, Shuraim CC was bowled out for 116. Sareem picked up 3 wickets for Pak Force.
In the first match of the afternoon, Mrsool CC defeated KFSH Blues by 109 runs. Mrsool CC won the toss and decided to bat first. On the back of half-centuries from Mudassir 88(41) and Usman Butt 50(26), Mrsool CC posted 224/8 in their 20 overs. In reply, KFSH Blues were bowled out for 115. Nadeem Babar was the only batsman to provide some resistance with 53(43). Nabeel and Bilal picked up 3 wickets a piece.
In The Second match of the afternoon, Samacom emerged the winner by 8 wickets for White Star CC. White Stars CC won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 201/7 in their 20 overs. Ramzan Butt picked up 3 wickets for Samacom. In reply, Samacom chased the target for the loss of 2 wickets in 19 overs. Ramzan Butt continued his fine form and scored his 2nd century of the tournament and remained unbeaten 101(66). Amjad Ali scored 53(26).
The 4th round matches will be played on September 30, 2022.
