Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi inaugurated Phase – I of the newly established ‘Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital’ at Gujranwala Medical College.
He was accompanied by Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Secretary Ahmed Javed Qazi, who briefed the attendees on the salient features of the facility including the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) developed by PITB.
PITB representatives from the IT-Operations wing SPMs Kumail Rizvi and Ali Shakoor further briefed the guests on HMIS which aims at managing patient care and administrative functions to ensure work efficiency and public service.
