The names of the pilgrims entering Saudi Arabia this year were announced through E-draw. Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdul Fattah Mushat said that this year the Hajj applicants from within Saudi Arabia have been selected through a draw. Of these, 217,000 applications were in accordance with the conditions.
The draw for entrants has been conducted online. Selected individuals will be notified via SMS soon.
The Hajj Package amount will be received after completing the rest of the Hajj process through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah e-Gate or Etemarna app.
Dr Mushat said that the candidates whose names have been included in the draw will be given 48 hours to complete the Hajj process and pay the amount of the Hajj Package, after which Hajj permits will be issued.
It may be recalled that the Ministry of Hajj had invited applications from the pilgrims from June 3 to 12. About 400,000 Saudi nationals and expatriates applied from within the Kingdom online and through the Etemarna app. This year, 1.5 million people will be given the opportunity to perform Hajj from within the country.
