RAWALPINDI: The GHQ Investiture Ceremony was held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, where General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), conferred military awards to Army personnel for their acts of gallantry during operations and for their meritorious services to the nation. Families of Shuhada (martyrs) were also present at the event.
RAWALPINDI: The GHQ Investiture Ceremony was held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, where General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), conferred military awards to Army personnel for their acts of gallantry during operations and for their meritorious services to the nation. Families of Shuhada (martyrs) were also present at the event.
In a solemn and dignified ceremony, forty-eight officers were awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) for their outstanding contributions. Additionally, seven officers, three Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and thirty soldiers received the Tamgha-i-Basalat for their bravery and courage in the line of duty. The medals of Shuhada were received by their family members, honoring the ultimate sacrifice made by these brave soldiers.
A large number of senior Army officers, along with the families of the awardees, attended the ceremony, reflecting the high regard and respect held for the recipients and their extraordinary service to the nation.
