Report by Waseem Khan, Saudi Arabia: In a grand display of unity and spirituality, an Iftar party was organized by Muhammad Mubashir Anwar, a prominent columnist residing in Saudi Arabia. The event, which was attended by a large gathering of officials from various social, welfare, and religious organizations, as well as officers from the Embassy of Pakistan, provided a platform for reflection, unity, and prayer during the blessed month of Ramadan.
During the Iftar party, Muhammad Mubashir Anwar addressed the attendees with heartfelt words, emphasizing the significance of Ramadan. He reminded everyone that Ramadan is a time to earn the blessings of Allah and to seek His mercy and forgiveness. “We must use this month to draw closer to our Lord,” he said. “It is a time for prayer, worship, and reflection. Let us not only pray for ourselves but also for our siblings, parents, and for the forgiveness of those who have passed away.”
The event also featured remarks from key officers of the Embassy of Pakistan, including Sohail Warraich, Najam Saqib, and Tauseef Khawar, who further underscored the importance of Ramadan. They emphasized that the twin blessings of prayer and fasting, granted by Allah Almighty, are the best ways to seek His favor during this sacred month. “There is no better practical way to seek Allah’s mercy than through prayer and fasting,” they noted, urging the attendees to practice patience and piety throughout the month.
Maulana Abdul Malik Mujahid, along with other participants, reflected on the spiritual benefits of Ramadan. They noted that this blessed month is not only a time of fasting but also a period for enlightenment, spiritual growth, and the multiplication of rewards. “Ramadan is a month where prayers are accepted and good deeds are magnified,” Maulana Abdul Malik Mujahid stated. “We should seize every moment of this month for worship and ensure that no opportunity for spiritual growth is missed.”
