The AKG Premier League Season 2 delivered intense cricket drama as Storm Warriors edged out Friends United by two wickets, securing a place in the final. The match took place at the historic Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground.
Batting first, Friends United posted 152/8 in 20 overs. Sarfaraz Khan top-scored with 43 off 41 balls, while Captain Murtaza Majid added 41 off 40. Suleman Huda added a quickfire 26 off 9, with two sixes and one four.
For Storm Warriors, bowlers Shayan Ali, Farhan Ahmedi, and Muhammad Shoaib each took two wickets, effectively restricting the opposition.
