Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024 officially opened

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The sixth edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia was officially opened today by H.E. Aali M. Al Zahrani, Governor of the Higher Commission for Industrial Security, and Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense. The event, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC), will run from October 1 to 3, 2024.

The exhibition has attracted 310 exhibitors from over 32 countries, marking a 25% year-on-year growth. This year’s event spans 23,000 sqm across five halls, with an expected 17,000 visitors.

Key discussions will focus on critical topics like AI in security, cybersecurity risks, fire prevention technologies, and emergency response strategies. A highlight of the opening was the Fire Protection and Technology Summit, where experts shared insights on fire safety, technology advancements, and best practices in post-incident recovery.

The Future Security and Safety Summit also launched, featuring presentations on career pathways in security, the role of drones in modern safety, and threat risk assessments.

Intersec Saudi Arabia, organized by 1st Arabia and licensed by Messe Frankfurt, remains a leading platform for industry networking, showcasing innovations, and securing business deals in the global security market.
