Governor Kamran Tesori Highlights Spiritual Power of Naat
Karachi – Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori praised the spiritual role of Naat poems during the 36th annual Naat gathering organized by Anjuman Sheedaian Rasool (PBUH). He said the love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the easiest way to follow the path shown by Allah Almighty.
“Naat gatherings fill our hearts with light and guide us toward the highest traditions of life,” he remarked.
Leaders Emphasize the Importance of Naat
Rizwan Siddiqui, head of Anjuman Sheedaian Rasool (PBUH), said that organizing the 36th annual event was only possible through the grace of Allah and the blessings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Former federal minister and noted religious scholar Aniq Ahmed also addressed the ceremony. He highlighted that the teachings of Islam and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) connect humanity and spread peace. He added that such gatherings strengthen the bond of love with the Prophet (PBUH).
Renowned Naat Reciters Participate
The gathering featured leading Naat reciters from the Islamic world, including Siddiq Ismail, Mahmudul Hassan Ashrafi, Faisal Naqshbandi, Shafiq Ahmed, Qari Asadul Haq, Shakeel Madani, Muhammad Shariq, Sameer Ashrafi, and Afaq Bashir Qadri.
Their soulful renditions deeply moved the audience and reinforced the theme of love and devotion to the Prophet (PBUH).

Several notable figures from Karachi attended the event. Among them were Wasiq Naeem, Akhlaq Ahmed, Arif Suleman, Hamza Tabani, Rana Ashfaq Rasool, Nadeem Zafar Siddiqui, Dr. Farhat Iqbal, Major Kausar Kazmi, Abdul Basit, Dr. Ayesha Rizvi, Dr. Tayyaba, and Madiha Razzak.
