The Pakistan team is currently playing a Test game against the Prime Minister’s XI. Batting first, Pakistan declared its innings at 391-4, thanks to the skipper Shan Masood’s unbeaten knock of 201.

In response, the Prime Minister’s XI has scored 376 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. However, the third day of the ongoing Test match has brought massive bad news for the Pakistan side.

The aspiring leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed complained of discomfort in his right leg after bowling eight overs on the third day of the four-day game against Prime Minister’s XI.

Abrar was taken off the field as a result, and he underwent an MRI scan. Further details will be shared in due course by the PCB after the medical panel assesses the MRI reports.

The reports might not allow Abrar to feature in the first Test match against Australia, starting from 14th December. The injury to Abrar will be damaging for Pakistan as it will weaken the already shallow bowling lineup of the boys in green.
