PSL 10: Rishad Hossain Shines as Lahore Crush Quetta by 79 Runs

TN Media News RAWALPINDI: Lahore Qalandars delivered a dominant all-round show to crush Quetta Gladiators by 79 runs in the fourth match of PSL 10 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, Lahore posted a massive 220/7. Fakhar Zaman led the charge with a classy 67 off 39, while Sam Billings blasted an unbeaten 50 off just 19 balls. Abdullah Shafique added 37, and Daryl Mitchell scored 37 in a key middle-order partnership.

Quetta’s bowlers, led by Abrar Ahmed and Akeal Hosein with two wickets each, couldn’t stop the flow of runs.

In reply, Quetta collapsed to 140 all out. Shaheen Afridi struck early, removing Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen in a fiery spell. Asif Afridi and Haris Rauf kept the pressure on.

Rilee Rossouw tried to fight back with a quick 44, but leg-spinner Rishad Hossain took him out and went on to grab three wickets in total, dismantling Quetta’s lower order.

Sikandar Raza also bagged two crucial wickets as the Gladiators crumbled.

With this win, Lahore bounce back in style and send a strong message early in the tournament.
