Pakistani Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar Arrives in Riyadh for Saudi Media Forum.

Syed Mussarat Khalil Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Pakistani Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, arrived in Riyadh today to participate in the fourth session of the Saudi Media Forum. The Minister was warmly received at King Khalid International Airport by Saudi Deputy Minister of Media, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz. Tarar’s visit coincides with the three-day International Media Conference, which will take place in Riyadh from February 19 to 21.

During his visit, Minister Tarar emphasized the strong ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing the Kingdom as a close friend of Pakistan. He acknowledged the deep historical and cultural relations between the two countries and commended the leadership of Saudi Arabia. “The vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for progress and prosperity is exemplary,” said Tarar. “The steps taken by Saudi Arabia in economic development and rising trade activities are worth emulating.”

Tarar also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to peace, prosperity, and interfaith harmony, underscoring the Kingdom’s role as a prominent supporter of global stability. He described the Saudi Media Forum as an essential platform for gaining insights into Saudi Arabia’s media experiences.

The Saudi Media Forum, which will feature significant media figures from around the world, is set to focus on enhancing cooperation in the media sector, exploring modern trends, and discussing the future of media production, digital journalism, content creation, and business models. The forum will also tackle issues such as fake news, digital transformation, media disinformation, and strategies to restore public trust in media institutions. Other key topics include artificial intelligence, the entertainment industry, media economics, and digital broadcasting.

On the sidelines of the event, Minister Tarar is expected to meet with important international figures to discuss media cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration.
