Pakistani Journalists Unite Globally with Launch of Pakistan Media Journalists Forum International.

Jeddah (Reporter): Pakistani journalists have achieved a significant milestone on the international stage with the launch of the Pakistan Media Journalists Forum International. Journalists representing over 40 countries participated in the inaugural meeting, expressing their commitment to unite the global Pakistani journalistic community on a single platform. During the forum’s first session, the constitution was formally approved, and the General Body office-bearers for the next two years were announced.

The forum’s mission is to advocate for the rights of Pakistani journalists worldwide, elevate journalistic standards, and promote a positive image of Pakistan internationally. The online meeting introduced the key office-bearers, including esteemed columnist and presidential awardee Irfan Siddiqui, who will serve as the Patron-in-Chief from Japan. Chaudhry Noor-ul-Hassan Gujjar from Saudi Arabia has been appointed Central Chairman, while Dr. Abdul Rahman Osama from Russia was named Central President.

Other prominent office-bearers include Jehanzeb Amjad from Riyadh as Vice President, Sheikh Ejaz Afzal from the UK and Tariq Rafiq Bhatti from Spain as Senior Vice Presidents, and Safina Khan from the UK as General Secretary. Shakeel Ahmed was appointed Deputy General Secretary, with Imran Mazmul from Switzerland as Joint Secretary. Sultan Luqman from Dubai was named Secretary of Information, and Riyaz Baloch from Austria as Finance Secretary. Regional chapter heads included Asim Siddiqui from the USA, Raja Ghafur Afzal from Denmark (Europe Chapter Head), Muhammad Aamir Siddiq from Austria (Honorary), Ashfaq Anwar from South Africa, Tanveer Irshad from Italy, and Mian Tanveer Sahil from Kuwait.

The newly elected officials pledged to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication, aiming to foster unity among Pakistani journalists worldwide and enhance media standards internationally. They are committed to leveraging the forum to amplify the voices of Pakistani journalists on global issues, enrich each other’s experiences, and celebrate Pakistani media achievements on an international scale. This initiative is expected to open a new chapter for the Pakistani journalistic community, strengthening their professional influence and elevating Pakistan’s presence on the world stage.
