On the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s 93rd Day National Day Upon the instructions of RCA Patron-in-Chief Prince Dr. General Abdul Aziz bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s National Champion Riyadh Cricket Association, organized matches on 15 grounds at RCA Sports Complex.
The entire event was named National Day, which was attended by a large number of cricket spectators. The spectators wore green shirts and were holding the Saudi National Flag in their hands and expressed their love for Saudi Arabia. RCA’s senior vice president Nasir Abbasi performed the duties of organizing the ceremony.
CEO RCA Muhammad Nadeem Babar was chief guest on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion he said that we have a spiritual and faith relationship with Saudi Arabia. He also congratulated RCA Executive Committee for organizing the wonderful tournament and continuously encouraging players for improving their performance. Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar thanked the Patron Chief Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz along with King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman who provided RCA with an opportunity to promote cricket in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia.
Nasir Abbasi, Vice President of the Riyadh Cricket Association, in his speech said that the Riyadh Cricket Association is fully committed to the development of cricket in Riyadh keeping in view the Vision 2030.
Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was also thanked by the Executive Committee of Riyadh Cricket Association. He also thanked Patron Chief Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz on behalf of the RCA executive Committee.
General Secretary of Riyadh Cricket Association Ashfaq Bhat highlighted the performance of the teams and assured the teams that RCA Management will try to bring more improvement.
Others dignitaries to be present on the occasion were Vice President RCA Aashique Mughal, Media Coordinator Atif Amin, Senior Umpires Muhammad Akram, National Selector Sher Afgan Jadoon, Tournament Organizer Sohail Abbasi and Shuraim Cricket Club Owner and Senior Cricketer Khawar Abbas.
Team captains, managers and players of all registered clubs of RCA participated in a colorful ceremony to celebrate the 93rd National Day (National Day) of Saudi Arabia.
A special cake was cut to celebrate this occasion while the captains of the winning and runner-up teams were awarded the winning and runner-up trophies.
