Pakistani singer Atif Aslam recently made headlines while in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a concert, where he was seen alongside former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and his wife, Sara Bharwana.
Atif’s performance with the Firdaus Orchestra, an all-women ensemble based in the UAE, took place on March 2 last week. Sania, who was reportedly in Dubai to attend the concert, shared a post on her Instagram posing with Atif and Sara.
The picture, originally posted by Sara with the caption “with my favourites,” was reshared by Sania on her Instagram Story. Additionally, Sania shared a snapshot from the concert, featuring Atif Aslam singing his popular song “Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein.”
In an interview with a Middle East entertainment publication, Atif mentioned that his performance included songs like “Rabba Sacheya” and “Channa,” fused with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s renditions. He expressed hope that the audience would enjoy the fusion, highlighting his vision to blend rock elements with eastern instruments.
