Saudi-Singapore Gastronomy 2024: A Culinary Collaboration at LuLu Hypermarket

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi-Singapore Gastronomy 2024 event, a unique collaboration between the Singapore Food Manufacturing Association (SFMA) and LuLu Hypermarket, has brought Singapore’s finest culinary brands to the Kingdom. Running from December 14-24 at LuLu Hypermarket’s Atyaf Mall branch in Riyadh, the event features ten premier Singaporean food brands and celebrates cross-cultural culinary excellence.

The opening ceremony, attended by H.E. Premjith Sadasivan, Ambassador of Singapore to Saudi Arabia, marked a significant milestone in strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two nations. H.E. Sadasivan highlighted the event’s potential to boost Singaporean products in the Middle Eastern market while fostering collaboration.

Guests experienced live cooking demonstrations, interactive stations, and tasting tables showcasing premium Singaporean products such as sauces, noodles, and ready-to-eat meals. Featured brands include Jungle Kitchen, Chilli Brand, and Oatbedient, among others.

Mr. Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Saudi Hypermarkets, emphasized LuLu’s commitment to delivering global flavors to Saudi consumers, while Tonya Tan, founder of World Future Enterprises, underscored the focus on innovation and sustainability in enhancing the retail experience.

This inaugural event not only celebrates Singapore’s rich culinary heritage but also positions LuLu Hypermarket as a bridge for global gastronomic trends in Saudi Arabia.
