The second phase of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) conditioning camp started at the National High-Performance Center, Lahore. Similar to the previous schedule, coach Saqlain Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq, both conducted a lecture for the 45 players present at the training camp.
It is worth mentioning that the likes of Imad Wasim and Yasir Shah are also attending the second phase of the conditioning camp and both players also participated in fielding drills with gym work. The camp’s primary purpose is to improve the fitness and fielding of the players for the coming season and to double the defects found in their game.
Two practice matches are also being scheduled during the camp. It remains to be seen whether practice matches will be scenario-based or not.
