On 31st March 2023, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China at Islamabad and met with Mr. Wang Shengjie.
Head of Political & Press Section (CPEC Focal Person). During the meeting avenues of cooperation between PRCCSF and Chinese think tanks were discussed. It was also decided that PRCCSF and the Embassy of China will work together on research-related activities on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Mr. Wang Shengjie appreciated PRCCSF for promoting Pakistan-China friendship and appreciated the “Understanding China” theme advocated by PRCCSF for better cooperation between Pakistan and China. CPEC is a flagship project of the Belt & Road Initiative and has a lot of opportunities for enhanced regional trade.
Mr. Khalid Taimur acknowledged the efforts of the Embassy of China in Pakistan for their role in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries.
