Last over drama for India destroyed the hope to qualify for the Semi-Finals of the Women World Cup 2022 and West Indies edged them in the points table by one point.
The drama of the last over was 7 runs of 6 balls and despite the efforts of Deepti Sharma to keep tight before claiming a wicket but it turned out to be no-ball which resulting in a free-hit. The South Africa batters made the full use of it and won the match on the last ball.
Mignon du Preez remained not out on 52 and was the main player to chase the run.
