Islamabad: The government coalition has once again demanded a full court in a case related to Deputy Speaker Punjab’s ruling.
While holding a press conference in Islamabad, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that a full court bench should be made in the case regarding Chief Minister Punjab. She called bench fixing a crime just like a match-fixing. She also said while she was coming for the press conference, messages were received from many people saying that her appeal was pending, and she should not hold a press conference.
Moreover, she said that institutions were insulted not from outside but from within through their decisions and choices. Maryam Nawaz further added that after the victory of Hamza Shahbaz, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members climbed the walls of the Supreme Court at night. Talking on this occasion, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that some people were not able to digest the democratic system in Pakistan as they could not tolerate the people making their own decisions.
He went on to say that it could not be that only three people decide the fate of a country, adding that, all the allied parties had the same demand that they wanted a full court bench. On this occasion, Tariq Bashir Cheema said that it was a legitimate demand that there should be a full court bench. He hoped that Supreme Court would accept his demand for the full court bench.
