Strategic Leadership Transition for Continued Growth
Eurofragance, a renowned Spanish fragrance house, has announced a major leadership shift in the Middle East. Starting January 2026, Oumayma Tabet will assume the role of General Manager for the region. This change reinforces the company’s commitment to strategic growth and operational excellence.
The current General Manager, Antoine de Riedmatten, will step down from day-to-day operations after more than a decade of leadership. However, he will continue contributing as a member of the Middle East and India Regional Board. This move ensures continuity while supporting the next phase of regional development.
Regional Structure Realigned for Focused Management
With this transition, Eurofragance’s regional leadership will now be split into two distinct zones:
-
India – led by General Manager Mayur Kapse
-
Middle East – to be led by Oumayma Tabet
Antoine de Riedmatten expressed his support, stating, “This step allows us to consolidate a new phase in our regionalization strategy with solid foundations and a renewed approach. I’m proud to remain linked to this extraordinary region from a new perspective, and to accompany Oumayma, whose talent, vision, and knowledge of the market are unquestionable.”
Since joining Eurofragance in 2014, Antoine has been instrumental in establishing its Creative Center and regional headquarters in Dubai, making the Middle East a key player in the company’s global portfolio.
Production Capacity Tripled in Spain to Support Middle East Market
This leadership change coincides with the inauguration of Eurofragance’s expanded manufacturing plant in Barcelona, Spain. With a €10 million investment, the upgraded facility has tripled production capacity to meet the surging demand from the Middle East.
The site now accounts for 50% of Eurofragance’s global output and integrates:
-
Advanced robotics, automating 80% of production
-
Sustainability features, including solar panels powering over a third of energy needs
-
Enhanced ergonomics, improving employee safety and well-being
According to Clara Mena, Chief Operations Officer, “Expanding our capacity in Spain directly supports our commitment to the Middle East, a region that continues to inspire us and drive our innovation.”
A Customer-Centric Vision Under Oumayma Tabet
With over 21 years of experience in the fragrance industry, Oumayma Tabet brings a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and market insight to her new role. She has worked with top global firms, including Quest International and Mane, and has spent the last two years leading Eurofragance’s Creative Center in Dubai.
Under her leadership, the center has become a regional hub of innovation, fostering strategic partnerships and nurturing a high-performance culture rooted in excellence and diversity.
“I embrace this new challenge with great excitement and responsibility,” Tabet said. “My commitment is to drive growth in the region and build solid partnerships with our clients. The key ingredients for this are innovation, sustainability, and our passion for fragrance.”
Eurofragance’s Road Ahead
This reorganization is a critical part of Eurofragance’s long-term strategy to align global ambitions with local relevance. It strengthens the company’s foundation in a region that has seen extraordinary growth in 2024 and remains a core pillar of its international business.
With a client-first approach, strong leadership, and increased production capabilities, Eurofragance is well-positioned to continue shaping the future of the fragrance industry in the Middle East.
