Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has expressed his strong desire to establish himself in the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite the enduring ban on Pakistani cricketers’ participation in the tournament since its inception in 2008.

The ban, initially imposed in the aftermath of the 2008 terror attack on Mumbai, has consistently kept Pakistan cricket stars away from the IPL stage for over a decade.

In a recent interview with a local news channel, Hasan Ali conveyed his optimism about overcoming this barrier and representing an IPL franchise.

“Every player wants to play in the IPL, and it is my wish to play there. It is one of the biggest leagues in the world, and I will definitely play there if there is an opportunity in the future,” Hasan Ali stated.

While the ban has prevented several prominent Pakistani cricketers, including Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Kamran Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Shahid Afridi, and others, from participating in the IPL since its inaugural edition.
