KFSH Blues defeated Pakistan Falcons by a huge margin of 242 runs in Mohammed Anwar Memorial 40-Over Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA). After this big win, KFSH Blues qualified for the Semi Final as the Top Team of Group A.
Great come back by Team KFSH Blues after losing the first league match of the tournament. Pakistan Falcons won the toss and elected to field in a virtual Quarter Final. KFSH Blues was strengthened with some key players coming back from vacations including Captain Nasir Abbasi. Openers Usman Khalid and Nasir Abbasi started well and had a solid 148-runs opening partnership. Nasir Abbasi got out on his individual score of 65 of 37 balls.
After the fall of the captain, Bilal Wani joined Usman Khaled and both played brilliantly and continued their good form from the previous two games and both scored 3rd consecutive century in the ongoing tournament.
Usman Khalid scored 144 of 84 balls while Bilal Wani added 111 of 75 balls. KFSH Blues posted 413/8 in 40 overs after solid contributions from the top order. Chasing a huge total, Pakistan Falcons was put under pressure straight away with some excellent bowling by the fast bowlers Mateen Abbasi and Imtiaz Butt. Both Mateen and Imtiaz took 3 wickets each. Danish Imran also continued the pressure and took 2 important wickets. Usman Khaled also chipped in with one wicket.
Pakistan Falcons was all out on 171 in 26.4 overs. Usman Khaled was declared Man of the Match. Well Played Team KFSH Blues and Good Luck for the Semi Finals.
