Ambassador Highlights Role of Pakistani Businessmen
The Pakistani Executive Forum in Dammam hosted a special gathering attended by Pakistani Ambassador Ahmed Farooq and other diplomatic officials. The event brought together hundreds of Pakistani and Saudi businessmen from Dammam, Jubail, Al-Ahsa, and Al-Khobar.
Ambassador Ahmed Farooq praised the strong contribution of Pakistani businessmen living in Saudi Arabia. He said they are playing a vital role in supporting Pakistan’s economy through trade and investment.
He emphasized the importance of the Eastern Region, where a large number of Pakistani entrepreneurs are based. According to him, cooperation between the Embassy of Pakistan and the business community will create new opportunities, boost employment, and support economic growth in both countries.
Forum’s Role in Promoting Business Opportunities
Munir Ahmed Shad, Chairman of the Pakistani Executive Forum, explained that the Forum was established to provide a platform for the Pakistani community. He said its main purpose is to bring businessmen together and encourage collaboration in trade and investment.
He added that the Sharqia Industrial Region offers great opportunities for Pakistani entrepreneurs to work alongside Saudi partners. This cooperation, he noted, will not only expand bilateral trade but also strengthen Pak-Saudi relations.

Pakistani Executive Forum President Kamran Qureshi, along with senior members including Shakeel Ahmed Kayani, also addressed the participants. They expressed appreciation for the Forum’s efforts and encouraged the business community to continue working together.
