Pakistan’s all-rounder Fatima Sana is gearing up for a new challenge, signing with the Canterbury Magicians for the first six rounds of the Women’s Super Smash in New Zealand.
Thrilled about the opportunity, Sana is eager to put her skills to the test and contribute to her team’s success. “Canterbury Magicians are a fantastic team, and I’m excited to be part of it,” she said. “The Super Smash is a tough competition, but I’m ready for the challenge and to learn from my teammates.”
Sana’s international experience speaks volumes. She played a crucial role in Pakistan’s T20I series win against New Zealand earlier this year and has consistently impressed in both T20Is and ODIs. Recognizing her talent, Canterbury head coach Rhys Morgan believes Sana will be a valuable asset. “Her international experience and record are impressive,” he said. “We’re confident she’ll not only strengthen our team but also bring excitement to the Super Smash.”
