A heartfelt ceremony was held in Riyadh by Sheikh Saeed Ahmed, President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Saudi Arabia, to honor Chaudhry Akram, Chairman of PML-N Saudi Arabia. The event began with condolences for the victims of the Jafar Express train tragedy and a tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces.
Speakers, including Sheikh Saeed and Chaudhry Akram, condemned the terrorist attack and urged stronger government action to prevent such incidents. They emphasized the need for effective strategies to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
The bravery of Pakistan’s military and civilian martyrs was highlighted, with speakers praising their sacrifices for national defense. They reaffirmed that the nation stands united with its forces against terrorism, particularly in the context of peace and progress in Balochistan.
Attendees also praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her dedicated efforts and leadership in the province.
The ceremony was attended by several PML-N officials and community leaders, including Engineer Adnan Iqbal Butt, Mirza Munir Baig, Amin Tajir, Mahmoud Bajwa, Chaudhry Sajjad Ali, Fazal Rahim, and Malik GM Awan. All expressed solidarity with the victims and support for the party’s leadership.
The event concluded with a strong message of unity, patriotism, and collective resolve within the overseas Pakistani community.
