This includes ensuring that composers, poets, singers, and producers receive their rightful dues while regulating the legal use of music. These efforts aim to establish a fair and sustainable industry that contributes effectively to the national economy.
Official Recognition by the Ministry of Economy
Recently, Music Nation obtained the official license for collective music management from the UAE Ministry of Economy. This milestone enables the company to regulate creators’ rights while ensuring compliance with intellectual property laws by TV channels and digital platforms.
The license was announced at an official ceremony in Dubai, attended by senior officials including H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, and H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Al Muaini, Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector.
