At the Pakistan cricket headquarters in Lahore, PCB Management Committee Chairman, Zaka Ashraf, had a significant meeting with Sarfaraz Ahmed and fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani this past Friday.

During the meeting, Zaka Ashraf extended his congratulations to Karachi Whites for clinching the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2023-24. He particularly highlighted the exemplary leadership of captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and applauded the outstanding performance of Dahani.

Ashraf reiterated PCB’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of its players and expressed unwavering support for regional cricket.

The spotlight is currently on Sarfaraz Ahmed as he emerges as a top contender for the role of Test captain for the forthcoming tour of Australia, potentially succeeding Babar Azam. There’s also buzz about possible shifts in the team management.
