Second round matches of Alkharj League of ongoing Tera System T20 tournament were played on 16th September 2022. Three matches were played in the morning while three matches were played in the afternoon.
In the First match of the morning, Samacom won by 8 wickets against Sinmar CC. Winning the toss and electing to bat first Sinmar posted a competitive 201/7 in their 20 overs. Shameel top scored 76(50). Ramzan Butt took 2 wickets for Samacom. In reply on the back of 102*(49) by Ramzan Butt, Samacom chased the target in 18.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets only.
In the second match, Mrsool defeated White Star by 87 runs. Mrsool won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 213/5 in their 20 overs. Mudassir top scored 94(66). In reply, White Star was bundled out for 126. Awais Afzal and Obaidullah Shafiq claimed 3 wickets apiece.
In the third match, REGC emerged as the winner by 6 wickets against KFSH Blues. KFSH Blues won the toss and elected to bat first but were bowled out for 144 in 16 overs. Adnan with 47(39) was the top scorer. For REGC Mohamed Sauky picked up 3 wickets. REGC chased down the required target in 14.4 overs and won by 6 wickets. Kannan Gopi top scored with 57(40). Mateen was the only successful bowler for KFSH Blues as he picked up all 4 wickets to fall.
In the first match of the afternoon, Riyadh Aces defeated ECric Store by 42 runs. ECric Store won the toss and decided to field first. Riyad Aces posted 229/4 in their 20 overs. Ahmed Ali Jamal top scored with 51*(28). In reply, ECric Store was restricted to 187/9 in their 20 overs. Abdulla Sherazi picked up 5 wickets for 33 runs.
In The Second match of the afternoon, Pakistan Falcons emerged as the winner by 17 runs against Pak Force CC. Pakistan Falcons won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 188/6 in their 20 overs. Umer Pervaiz top scored 54(35). Adnan Saleem picked up 3 wickets for Pak Force. In reply, Pak Force was bowled out for 171 in 19.1 overs. Fayyaz top scored with 51(30). Muhammad Waseem Khan picked up 3 wickets for Pakistan Falcons.
In the last match of the day, Fonte Stars defeated Shuraim CC by 50 runs. Batting first Fonte Stars posted a mammoth 257/3 in their 20 overs. Majid Bashir top scored 153(69). In reply, Shuraim CC was bowled out for 207. Hafiz Abdul Malik took 4 wickets for Fonte Stars.
The third round of matches will be played on September 23, 2022.
