A Patriotic Gathering in North Karachi
The 78th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with passion in North Karachi Town. The event was organized by the Jamhori Watan Party (JWP) Karachi Division. It brought together citizens, party members, and community leaders to honor the nation’s freedom.
Tribute to Pakistan Army
Irtafa Shah, President of JWP Karachi and Parliamentary Secretary, addressed the participants. He highlighted the sacrifices and strength of the Pakistan Army.
He said that defeating India in past wars is a matter of national pride. These victories, he added, boost the nation’s confidence and inspire unity.
Irtafa Shah congratulated Field Marshal General Asim Muneer for his leadership. He praised the army’s constant role in defending Pakistan. He also assured full solidarity with the armed forces and urged Pakistanis to stand by their institutions.
National Unity and Sacrifices
Shah reminded the audience that August 14 is more than just a holiday. It is a day to remember sacrifices, unity, and the struggle for freedom.
Malak Saeed Hussain, General Secretary of PS-122, also spoke at the ceremony. He praised the event’s arrangements and thanked the JWP Karachi for its efforts.
He stressed that Independence Day is a time for the nation to unite. According to him, such unity sends a strong message of commitment to Pakistan’s defense.
Celebrations and Gratitude
The ceremony ended with a cake-cutting by Irtafa Shah. This moment symbolized joy and gratitude for freedom. He thanked all participants for joining and showing their patriotic spirit.
