Aasif Sheikh attended the ICC Coaching Course Level 1 organised by Saudi Cricket Federation (#SACF) to enhance the coaches and give them the platform to polish their skills and pass on the knowledge to develop youth.
Aasif Sheikh would like to thank Riyadh Cricket Association ( RCA ) management Nasir Abbasi & Mohammed Nadeem Babar for giving them the opportunity to be selected from the Association to further enhance their experience and to obtain the approved qualifications.
Aasif Sheikh would like to thank Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation to bring such opportunities for the community to not only enhance the individual path but also to help develop the upcoming youth.
The course was for 4 days with 16 hours total in which the first 3 days were spent going through the level 1 coaching course and the final day was the practical assessment by the ICC Development Office Mr Iqbal Sikander along with the support of Rehat Chowdhury and Abulhasan Vadoodh who assisted the course with Iqbal Sikander.
Furthermore, the members who attended the course were lucky to have the presence of Mr Kabir Khan ex-Pakistani cricketer and currently the Head Coach of Saudi Arabia.
During the training session, William Glenwright of the ICC Development Committee visited and shared his view and congratulated the coaches and wished them all the best in developing the young youth.
