Karachi (Sports Reporter) — In the 5th match of the ongoing AKG Premier League Season 2 at the historic Aga Khan Gymkhana ground, Storm Warriors secured their second consecutive victory with a dominant 7-wicket win over Friends United.
Friends United batted first, posting a total of 127 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. The team’s captain, Murtaza Majid, played a vital role, scoring 41 runs off 39 balls, which included 2 boundaries. Syed Ahsan Ullah contributed 22 runs, while Mohammad Ali added 20 runs to the total.
For the winning side, Storm Warriors, Mohammad Shoaib was the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets for just 15 runs. Rahim Ali and Shayan Ali also impressed with the ball, taking 2 wickets each for 22 and 25 runs, respectively.
