Cricket fans have been requested to wear floppy hats and come to the Melbourne Cricket Stadium. Former Australian Test cricketer Shane Warne will be honored at the Boxing Day Test. Tributes to Shane Warne will be paid on the first day of the Boxing Day Test, with cricket fans being asked to wear floppy hats to the Melbourne Cricket Stadium.
Apart from this, the teams of Australia and South Africa will also participate in the pre-match ceremony by wearing floppy hats on the first day. According to Cricket Australia, the Boxing Day Test held special significance for Shane Warne, who grew up in Melbourne.
Shane Warne’s cap number 350 will be painted on the square, Shane Warne on the big screen at 3.50pm on Boxing Day. The graphic will appear.
The second Test between Australia and South Africa will start from December 26.
The legendary leg-spinner died of a heart attack while on holiday in Thailand in March this year.
