Four Seasons, a leading luxury hospitality brand, and Saudi developer Dar Al Omran Company have announced the upcoming opening of Four Seasons Hotel Madinah. The new hotel, set to launch in late 2024, will be located in the heart of Madinah, just steps away from the historic Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque.
A Prime Location with Rich Cultural Heritage
Madinah is a city steeped in history and spiritual significance. It attracts millions of visitors annually to its renowned landmarks, such as Mount Uhud and Quba Mosque, the oldest mosque in the world. Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will honor this heritage by blending modern luxury with the city’s rich cultural and spiritual identity.
Hotel Features and Design
The hotel will offer 246 guest rooms and suites, multiple unique restaurants and lounges, expansive meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, and a luxury spa. The architectural design is led by HKS, while LW Design Group manages the interior design for guest rooms and public areas. AvroKO oversees the lobby, reception, and dining outlet designs.
Design elements inspired by the Prophet’s Mosque will be thoughtfully integrated into the hotel’s aesthetic to create a serene and culturally immersive experience. The property aims to provide guests a tranquil sanctuary for reflection, celebration, and connection.
Leadership and Vision
General Manager Waleed Sobhy will lead the new hotel. Sobhy brings over 20 years of Four Seasons experience, having held senior roles including Director of Food and Beverage in Cairo and Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh. He will build the preopening team and ensure the hotel delivers the renowned Four Seasons personalized and authentic service.

Connectivity and Regional Expansion
Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will be conveniently located near the Prophet’s Mosque, with easy access to Makkah and Jeddah via a high-speed railway and just 20 minutes from Madinah International Airport. The hotel will join Four Seasons’ expanding Saudi portfolio, including properties in Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, Shura Island, NEOM, and AMAALA.
This expansion reflects Four Seasons’ commitment to growth in the Middle East and supports Saudi Arabia’s vision to enhance luxury tourism in the region.
