Jeddah: PPP Celebrates 97th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Saudi Arabia organized a solemn and vibrant ceremony to mark the 97th birth anniversary of the nation’s great leader of democracy, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Held in Jeddah, the event was graced by Senator Sehar Kamran as the chief guest, with Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain, President of PPP Saudi Arabia, presiding over the gathering.

The ceremony, attended by PPP leaders, workers, and representatives from various political parties, saw an outpouring of love and reverence for the late leader. Party workers joyously cut a birthday cake, with chants of “Nara-e-Bhutto” echoing through the venue, a testament to the enduring legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Among the notable speakers at the event were Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain, Malik Javed Hussain, Adeel Siddiqui, Chaudhry Zulfikar, Sardar Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, Akram Gujar, Aftab Ali Turabi, and Asad Akram. They paid heartfelt tributes to Bhutto, underscoring his monumental role in shaping Pakistan’s destiny, particularly his pivotal leadership in making the country a nuclear power and an invincible force in the world.

Senator Sehar Kamran, in her speech, highlighted the profound impact of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on Pakistan’s history. She emphasized that, following Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan, Bhutto Shaheed was the only leader who instilled a sense of dignity in the Pakistani people. She further noted that Bhutto Shaheed’s sacrifices for the nation remain an inspiring source of strength, with his ideology continuing to live on in the hearts of his followers.

The ceremony concluded with a solemn prayer for the elevation of the ranks of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and all martyrs of the nation, honoring their sacrifices in the pursuit of a brighter future for Pakistan.
