Korangi Town’s Spring Festival: A Vibrant Celebration of Beauty, Culture, and Community.

Karachi (Report): In a jubilant display of nature’s beauty and cultural vibrancy, Chairman Korangi Town, Muhammad Naeem Sheikh, hosted a spectacular flower exhibition titled “Jashn-e-Baharan” (Festival of Spring) for the residents of Korangi. The event, held to celebrate the arrival of spring, was graced by distinguished guests, including Nisar Khuhro, the Sindh President of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), District Korangi President Jani Memon, and renowned columnist Muhammad Khan Abro.

The exhibition was further enhanced by the presence of Zareen Awan, Vice Chairman of Korangi Town, TMC Korangi Municipal Commissioner Faiz Muhammad Sheikh, as well as council members and key officers of TMC Korangi. Together, they contributed to making the event a memorable celebration.

In his address, PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro lauded the public service initiatives of Muhammad Naeem Sheikh, stressing the importance of flowers not only as symbols of beauty but also as emblems of love, peace, and serenity. He spoke passionately about how events like Jashn-e-Baharan not only offer entertainment but also help in fostering a sense of renewal and tranquility within the community.

The exhibition attracted a wide array of attendees— from children and youth to elderly residents— all of whom enjoyed the lively festivities and rich cultural performances. The event featured performances from well-known Pakistani artists, including singer Saleem Afridi, iconic pop star Hasan Jahangir, and comedian Amjad Rana. Their captivating performances kept the crowd entertained, earning much admiration and applause.

As the event drew to a close, awards were presented to the City Area Organization and TMC Korangi officials in recognition of their outstanding contributions. The public’s enthusiasm and appreciation for the event were palpable, with many praising Chairman Muhammad Naeem Sheikh for his remarkable efforts in organizing such a vibrant and engaging community celebration.
