Medicine is the heritage of the prophets and physicians are its trustees. They are playing their full role in the development and promotion of medicine. The medical curriculum is being adapted to the modern requirements of health.
These views were expressed by the President of the National Council for Medicine, Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan, Prof. Hakeem Muhammad Ahmed Salimi while addressing the Medical Convention. There are many problems facing TB and the spread of the population has become a challenge if not addressed in time and steps are not taken then the coming generations will have to bear the brunt of it.
Physicians should play their part in controlling the rapid growth of the population. Inform the patients and the people of the community as we have the example of many countries including Bangladesh where they were controlled with the help of the community.
Member National Council for Medicine Hakim Shehzad Javed, District President Medical Conference Haq Yam Abdul Majeed Shami, Hakim Maqbool Ahmad Chaudhry, Hakim Ehsanul Haq Sehri, Hakim Muhammad Tariq Shad, Hakim Mujahid Hussain, Hakim Dr. Sherafgun also addressed the gathering.
On this occasion, awareness and encouragement were also given about haircuts, how we can promote this Sunnah treatment and how to remove the fear and misunderstanding among the people about this treatment and how people can get rid of it.
At the end of the ceremony Ghulam Rasool Pakistani Convener PSA Green Pakistan, Clean Pakistan thanked the guests for coming and planting trees together with the special guest of the upcoming ceremony.
Pakistan Clean Pakistan also conveyed the message of how together we can make our country green and clean with our traditional and medicinal plants and trees.
