National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship 2022.

Multan beat Bhawalpur by seven wickets and successfully topped all three matches of Group A’s second stage. Chef Guest Coach PCB Sindh Ghulam Ali presented the Man of the Match Award to Ghulam Muhammad of the winning team. In the second match, Karachi PD beat Quetta PD by three wickets and Umar Farooq was named man of the match.

Multan PD defeated the defending champions Bhawalpur by seven wickets in the National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship 2022, winning the top position won it he all three matches of the second phase of the Group. Muhammad scored 23 runs and took three wickets for 21 runs and was declared man of the match and was presented this award by Chief Guest head Coach PCB Sidh Ghulam Ali. On this occasion, Jameel Kamran also presented a flower bouquet medal and gift to Chief Guest Ghulam Ali and Sadiq Khatri from PPDCA.

Chief guest Ghulam Ali in his short speech said that PD cricket is not less than normal cricket in any way. Hearty congratulations to Amiruddin Ansari with his members for the excellent service of PD Cricket.

The match played at the Rashid Latif Academy Ground on Thursday in connection with the ongoing National PD Championship organized by Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association, Shahid Afridi Foundation and ICRC and PCB proved to be one-sided. Multan won by a wicket against Bhawalpur. Of Bhawalpur scored runs in 10 overs while playing first. Mohammad Imran scored 20 runs and Mohammad Shahzad scored 19 runs. Zubair Saleem bowled 3 for 12 runs while Ghulam Muhammad got 3 wickets for 11 runs.

Multan PD easily achieved their target of 104 runs in 14.5 overs to win by seven wickets. Abdul Manan scored an unbeaten 36 runs off 27 balls with the help of 6 fours, while the skipper Matllob Qureshi also hit two fours in 36 runs while remaining not out. Mohammad Shehzad took one wicket.  In the second match, Karachi PD defeated Quetta by three wickets. Quetta PD scored 110 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 20 overs. Nusratullah scored 20 runs and Noorullah scored 19 runs. Mohammad Ishaq took three wickets, Javed Ahmed took and Umar Farooq took two wickets for 20 runs.

In response, Karachi PD achieved the required target of 114 runs in 19.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Umar Farooq made 33 with five fours off 29 balls, Rao Javed hit three fours in 25 runs, while Kamran Khan made 21 runs not out.  Nusratullah took four wickets for 18 runs and Ali Bakhsh got two wickets for 18 runs. At the end of the match, the Chief guest England’s county player Mr. Kevin gave the man of the match cash award to Umar Farooq, the colleague of Ijaz Taj of TI Builders. Amir Uddin Ansari and Waseem bhai were also seen.
