Bilal Friends C.C. check-mate Mumbai Indians in the 10th round of Al-Turki Main League cricket competition here at EPCA ground-19 to take the top spot in group A & seal their place in the Semi-Finals.
Bowling first, Bilal Friends mercilessly demolished Mumbai Indians via their fine spinners, bowling them out for a mere 168.
The star of the show with the ball was yet again Mr. Muhammad Bilal.. whose class personified with 3 wickets added to his legendary bowling curriculum vitae and Mr. Farooq Mirza .. the surprise entry package added to the bowling artillery of B.F.C.C whose wrist spin and googlies kept the opposition batsmen at bay.
The target was chased faster than a standard home pizza delivery at a loss of no wickets due to two of the veteran EPCA superstars Munawer mercurial Chaudhary and Bilal ballistic Butt taking charge of the batting affair.
Munawer Chaudhary scored a majestic hundred with a help of 20 classy boundaries and 1 towering six & Bilal Butt scored a subtle fifty supporting the captain from the other end.
Munawer Chaudhary was declared the undisputed man of the match for his batting prowess.
The Semi-Final now awaits B.F.C.C
