North Karachi Sector 5E Faces Severe Sewerage Crisis Due to Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation’s Incompetence.

Karachi (Staff Reporter) – The residents of North Karachi Sector 5E are facing severe difficulties due to the incompetence of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), which has led to the complete breakdown of the area’s sewage system. Vice Chairman Engineer Muhammad Imran, addressing the grievances of citizens in UC 8 Faisal Sector 5E, highlighted the pressing issues and the suffering caused by the negligent staff.

Engineer Muhammad Imran emphasized that the KWSC should operate under the authority of each town to ensure better management and accountability. He pointed out that the sewage problems have been exacerbated by the lack of cooperation from relevant officials, despite repeated complaints and applications submitted to XEN Officer Majid Ali of North Karachi.

“Jamaat-e-Islami is committed to serving the communities with dedication and integrity, especially in the areas where our representatives have been elected,” said Engineer Imran. He criticized the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation for its failure to address the increasing sewage issues, which are causing significant distress to the residents.

In a bid to resolve the complex sewage problem, Engineer Imran has urged the higher authorities, including Syed Salahuddin Ahmed and MD Water Board Asadullah Khan, to issue directives from the head office for immediate action. He stressed the importance of timely intervention to alleviate the residents’ suffering and restore normalcy in North Karachi Sector 5E.

Furthermore, Engineer Imran reiterated Jamaat-e-Islami’s support for the people of Karachi against the ongoing load-shedding and the oppressive practices of K Electric. He assured the residents that they would not be left alone in their struggles and that efforts would continue to ensure their rights and well-being are protected.
