Pakistan Test captain backs Sarfaraz Ahmed over Mohammad Rizwan.

The Pakistan will be playing 1st of three Test match against Australia on December 14th.

Recently, the newly-appointed Test skipper, Shan Masood, answered the most interesting question that has been asked by the pundits and fans alike.

Ahead of the Pakistan’s match against PM XI, Shan was engaged in a media interaction where he was asked that who would start for Pakistan, Sarfaraz or Rizwan?

Masood said that the side will be relying on the experience of the veteran keeper Sarfaraz as his recent domestic performances also spoke volume about his talent and grit at such age.

Furthermore, the left-handed batsman also revealed the five players to watch out in this challenging series.

“We have got six other guys with Shaheen, each posing a different kind of threat for batsmen. We have got two top first-class performers like Mir Hamza who is a left-arm bowler, he has also played some county cricket, played a couple of Test matches”

We have got Khurram Shehzad who was the highest wicket-taker in our domestic season. We thought we could utilize somebody like Mohammad Wasim Jr, who can add a bit of pace if the ball does reverse. He can be handy at the SCG it will be quite handy,” Masood said.
