Pakistani Community in Jeddah to Celebrate 79th Independence Day with Patriotic Zeal

Jeddah (TN Media News): The Pakistani community in Jeddah is preparing to celebrate Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic zeal and community spirit. This year’s event promises to be vibrant, well-organized, and memorable, reflecting the deep love of overseas Pakistanis for their homeland.

Grand Event at Pakistan International School Al-Rehab

The Pakistan Solidarity Forum, a coalition of the Pakistan Investors Forum and local social organizations, has announced a grand Independence Day ceremony.

The event will take place on August 14 at Pakistan International School, Al-Rehab, in the evening.
Highlights include:

  • National anthem and flag hoisting, Children’s patriotic performances and tableaus, Presentations on Pakistan’s development initiatives, Lavish dinner for all guests

A large turnout is expected, including Pakistani families, Saudi investors, and foreign diplomats.

Community Leaders Lead Preparations:

A preparatory meeting was chaired by Chaudhry Shafqat Mehmood, President of the Pakistan Investors Forum. He called for unity and collective effort to make the celebration historic.

Chaudhry Shafqat Mehmood emphasized:

He also thanked the Pakistan Consulate for its support.

Focus on Patriotism and Youth Participation

Ameer Muhammad Khan recommended short speeches and more national songs, highlighting the importance of youth engagement. He added: “Creative performances and children’s participation foster true patriotic spirit.”

Chaudhry Shafqat invited all community forums to join the celebrations.
“This Independence Day, let us unite with renewed commitment to Pakistan’s progress,” he said.
