The meet-up was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests. These included Mr. Muhammad Afzal Batti, Managing Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF); Mr. Ehsanul Haq Bajwa, Parliamentary Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML); and Mr. Muhammad Mustafa Haider, Director General (Welfare and Services), OPF. Their participation added depth and credibility to the discussions.
Key Issues Facing Overseas Pakistani Professionals
The Pakistani Executive Forum Dammam Region used this platform to highlight pressing issues faced by highly skilled overseas Pakistani professionals and executives in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, participants discussed how overseas Pakistanis contribute significantly to Pakistan’s economy and global image. PEF’s Role in Advocacy and Community Engagement
The Pakistani Executive Forum (PEF) was formally represented by Mr. Talib Kini, Chapter Head Jubail; the General Secretary of the Jubail Chapter; and Mr. Zameer A. Awan, General Secretary of the PEF Dammam Region. Other members of the PEF Dammam Region management team were also present.
During the meet-up, PEF leadership reaffirmed the forum’s commitment to advocating for overseas Pakistani professionals. They highlighted PEF’s ongoing efforts to create dialogue between policymakers and the Pakistani diaspora.
