PITB in collaboration with Dera Ghazi Khan Waste Management Company (WMC-DGK ) has launched the ‘Facial Recognition Based Attendance System’ as a pilot project in DG Khan.
The first of its kind in any public sector organization across Pakistan, the initiative aims at equipping WMC-DGK with the latest tech for improved management. Upon successful results, the system will also be rolled out in other waste management companies across Punjab.
PITB’s team comprising Program Manager Bilal Javaid and Ast. Program Officer Usama Shakeel also conducted a training session for the officials of WMC-DGK. Chairman WMC-DGK Zia Khan Kakkar and CEO Jawad-ul-Hassan Gondal lauded PITB for supporting the department.
