PITB To Develop ‘Field Force Monitoring System’ For The Wildlife & Parks Department.

On the directions of Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, PITB representatives from IT-Operations (IT-Ops) wing visited the Directorate of Wildlife & Parks Department to discuss the development of the ‘Field Force Monitoring System.’

During the discussion, PITB IT-Ops Director Ali Raza Kheiri and Joint Director Qaiser Shabbir explained that this system aims at digitizing the ‘Area of Responsibility (AOR)’ of the wildlife field formation. It will also help in the real-time monitoring of activities being carried out by the field staff.
Furthermore, it will facilitate real-time wildlife sighting reports, incident reporting and habitat damage reporting for the protection of wildlife in Punjab.
Program Manager Saad Malik and Program Officer Bilal Sikandar demonstrated the prototype designs of the system’s mobile application and web dashboard. Director General Wildlife & Parks Department Mobeen Ilahi applauded PITB’s efforts and discussed the way forward.
