On 11th September 2022, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, ED, PRCCSF and Ms. Maryam Raza, Deputy Director participated in the online International “Artemis” Congress on Life, Social, Health, and Sports Sciences as speakers and presented their research papers. The high-level congress was organized by BZT Academy, Turkey. A large number of international experts and scholars from all around the world participated in the congress and shared their innovative ideas. The session was successfully coordinated by Mr. Baha Ahmet Yilmaz, CEO, BZT Academy, Turkey.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, ED, PRCCSF shared his expert analysis on ‘’Geopolitical Shift in South Asia: Finding Solutions to Common Challenges under Regional Connectivity’’. He stated that in the 21st Century, the socioeconomic and political dynamics of the regions have changed. The world has entered an era of geo-economics transformation, bringing both challenges and new opportunities. Thus, there are many key characteristics formulating a human society. He discussed that the South Asian region is diverse, unique, and populous but there are many common issues that need joint solutions, i.e., emerging Non-traditional security challenges. These non-conventional challenges, for example, Climate change or environmental threats are multidimensional, complex, and hard to solve with a short-term policy. Mr. Khalid suggested that these issues can be curtailed with a regional approach at the multilateral level.
Ms. Maryam Raza, Deputy Director, PRCCSF moderated the session and also presented her research on ‘’Youth as a National Dividend: Women Empowerment and Human Resource Development’’. She discussed Human Resource Development (HRD) which is essential for the progress of any country in terms of advanced dynamics of the economy and policy-orientation process. In recent times, the obsolete and dysfunctional principles of economic development are replaced by modern trends and patterns. Ms. Raza stated that the area of employment is changing dramatically. In this aspect, globalization and technology are offering a rationale coherence for upgrading and revising the world’s narratives and policies to keep up with the time. She also suggested many ways to enhance women’s participation in the decision-making process and employment sector.
