Hyderabad – Larosh Cricket Club Karachi clinched their third consecutive win in the All Sindh Hayat High-Speed Cricket League, defeating Shah Taj Cricket Club Hyderabad by 41 runs to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
The match, held at the Sindh Agricultural University Tando Jam Ground, saw a stellar performance from La Roche’s U-19 regional player Syed Muhammad Fahad. Batting first, La Roche CC posted a total of 144/7 in 20 overs. Fahad contributed 38 runs with three fours and two sixes while also showcasing his skills behind the stumps with a stumping and a catch. Ali Hassan added 34 runs with two sixes, while Adil Ali Saeed stood out with 31 runs, including three fours and three sixes.
Shah Taj CC’s bowlers Kaleem, Asad Malik, and Noor Habib each took one wicket. However, in their chase, Shah Taj CC was restricted to 101 all out, with Waqas Qureshi scoring a resilient 50 and Owais Qureshi contributing 17 runs. Rao Waqar’s brilliant bowling earned him three wickets, while Inamul Haq, Lal Kumar, and Haseeb-ur-Rehman bagged two wickets each.
Organizing Secretary Syed Muhammad Nadeem stated that eight top teams from across Sindh are competing in this unique league, which is being supported by the Sports Department of the Government of Sindh. Esteemed figures such as Dr. Aman Akbar and former first-class cricketer Adnan Taj are playing key roles in organizing the event.
In the post-match ceremony, La Roche Cricket Club Secretary Muhammad Nizam presented the Man of the Match cash award to Captain and U-19 Regional Player Syed Muhammad Fahad for his outstanding all-round performance. Organizing Secretary Syed Muhammad Nadeem and La Roche CC Karachi President Saeed Ali were also present during the ceremony.
