Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), welcomed His Excellency Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan, in a meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, Mr. Akram extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Sharifzoda and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan. He highlighted the significant role PRCCSF has played in fostering relationships not only between Pakistan and Tajikistan but also with other Central Asian countries.
Ambassador Sharifzoda expressed his appreciation for PRCCSF’s contributions and acknowledged Mr. Akram’s efforts in promoting regional cooperation. “The valuable contributions of PRCCSF and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram have been instrumental in bolstering ties between our nations,” stated the Ambassador.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to enhance collaboration between the Tajik embassy and PRCCSF. Both parties discussed plans for future cooperation and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. They also agreed to focus on establishing academic partnerships and increasing people-to-people interactions to further cement the relationship between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
